  • Overview

    The Team Lead, Facilities directly supports the role and functions assigned to the Manager, Facilities and may, at the Manager, Facilities discretion, assume responsibility for certain tasks. Additionally, the Team Lead, Facilities is responsible for completion/providing for the completion of the Essential Functions below.

    • Administer JIRA Ticket process for facilities requests
    • Produce badges for new hires/terminations and deliver badge reporting as required
    • Monitor and provide support related to cameras in all ACA facilities
    • Support productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
    • Manage workstation/office moves process
    • Participate in negotiations with vendors, contractors, etc.
    • Maintain inventory of vendor provided and other supplies onsite
    • Update and manage/audit inventory of non-IT equipment, furniture, etc. across ACA
    • Assist with maintenance of associate locator/facilities utilization records
    • Work with vendors to ensure service/SLA performance (including landscaping, vehicle maintenance, etc.)
    • Work within operational facilities management budget
    • Coordinate with the vendor management office (VMO) to ensure ongoing compliance
    • Supervise and coordinate outside contractors working in and around ACA facilities
    • Audit facility services. Use performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed-upon service levels
    • Initiate and carriy out organization-wide projects using continuous improvement methods
    • Participate in planning and execution of projects (e.g. office reconfigurations, etc.)
    • Perform and/or provide for general/routine maintenance/preventive maintenance activities (e.g. replacing filters, lights, etc.)
    • Monitor systems and identify when additional support (e.g. HVAC, plumbing, etc.) is required
    • Work with Talent Development to gain appropriate certifications through formal training
    • Coordinate with Johnson Development to ensure proper maintenance/repairs of related facilities in completed
    • Participate in procurement activities to ensure needed tools, equipment, etc. is available as needed
    • Support and practice the Guiding Principles
    • Maintain keys/master keys for all buildings
    • Evaluate and make recommendations related to facilities/physical security
    • Participate and/or lead emergency preparedness drills (e.g. fire, weather, active shooter, etc.)
    • Provide support for all disaster recovery/business continuity efforts
    • Other duties as assigned


    • 3+ years of hands-on facilities management experience with emphasis on general facilities functions (including routine maintenance, mail room operations, vendor/contractor management, and related systems)
    • Demonstrates strong communication and problem-solving skills
    • High level of customer service
    • Ability to maintain composure and shift priorities in a fast paced environment
    • Ability to set goals and work with minimal supervision
    • Natural curiosity and willingness to learn and apply new things



    Supervisory Responsibility

    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

    Work Environment and Physical Demands

    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full-time position with a core work schedule of Monday-Friday with some schedule variations as needed.


    This position will require regular travel between the buildings in Spartanburg, SC and require up to 10% travel outside of Spartanburg, SC.
