  • Overview

    The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with key stakeholders within the marketing group and across the organization to develop and disseminate communications and campaigns to support department objectives. This person will play an important role in fostering engagement and strengthening relationships both internally and externally through the planning and execution of ACA events, marketing materials, industry trade shows, and corporate communications.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute new and ongoing communications about programs, events, and
    • Manage proposals, budgets, timelines, and creative design to ensure programs are executed in an effective, quality manner while handling multiple priorities, maintaining attention to detail and meeting established deadlines.
    • Develop the design, copy, and production of communications and content for marketing owned platforms including the associate newsletter, company website, corporate intranet, etc.
    • Design graphics for marketing materials and digital communications, including content televisions, video blogs, and infographics as needed.
    • Collaborate with others in the Marketing group to ensure proper planning and execution of the corporate events calendar.
    • Work closely with external vendors and internal department leaders to manage the development, production, and distribution of ACA branded promotional and collateral materials.
    • Support associate recognition strategies by leading and contributing to initiatives.
    • Strengthen relationships with community organizations and leaders to support ACA’s giving strategy.
    • Other tasks as assigned

    Qualifications

    • 2+ years of corporate communications experience required.
    • 2+ years of corporate event planning experience strongly preferred.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Human Resources or similar degree.
    • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (In Design, Illustrator, Premier Pro, Photoshop, etc.)
    • Strong interpersonal, networking, written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Proven ability to communicate at all levels, understanding the implications of communication on various audiences.
    • Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines is essential.
    • Demonstrated ability to write and edit clear, engaging, and grammatically correct content.
    • Demonstrated oral communication and interpersonal skills sufficient to convey information in a clear, concise way, synthesizing information and presenting it to others.
    • Creative thinking and proven systematic organizational skills to work independently without supervision, determine workload priorities to complete work in a timely manner, and identify and resolve problems.
    • Proven skill at working in a collaborative environment, including interpersonal skills to interact sensitively with colleagues at various levels within the organization, community leaders, and vendors.
    • Ability to thrive in a highly visible role by building relationships across the organization.

     

     

    Supervisory Responsibility

    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

     

    Work Environment and Physical Demands

    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

     

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday-Friday with some schedule variations as needed.

     

    Travel

    This position will require up to 10% travel.
