  • Overview

    The Dealer Relations Specialist will be responsible for handling all customer complaints forwarded from Servicing that involve dealer complaints, mechanical issues etc. which fall within the Servicing Guidelines and dealer breaches of the Dealer Agreement with ACA.

    The Dealer Relations Specialist, in the process of handling daily tasks, may be required to communicate internally with the following business areas within ACA: Servicing, Marketing, Funding, Underwriting, Accounting and Legal.

    • Make and receive calls each day to assist customers and dealers
    • Be able to use various computer programs necessary to perform the related tasks
    • A professional approach is required in all situations involving communications to customers, dealers, and all business areas within ACA
    • Draft Demand Letters (if applicable)
    • Responsible for managing and maintaining the dealer repurchase and trade-in processes.
    • May work on special projects, or be required to compose written documents and perform analysis
    • Other tasks as assigned


    • Excellent problem solver, with ability to prioritize
    • Proficient at navigating various computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Shaw/Spectrum and LS Locator, Provenir, On Base, CRM, CMS, and Dealer Portal)
    • Proven ability to multi-task and complete assignments within required deadlines
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Advanced knowledge of company products, services, policies, procedures, collections systems, and how to apply this knowledge when communicating with our customer and dealer base


    Supervisory Responsibility

    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.



    Work Environment and Physical Demands

    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.


    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full-time position. Days are Monday-Friday.  The normal daily schedule is from 8 am to 5 pm but could vary as needed.



    No travel is expected for this position.
