  • Overview

    Director, Shared Services Controller will primarily be responsible for leading Controllership’s Shared Services day-to-day operations, Also, this role will be a key leader on ACA’s Controllership Leadership Team.

    Responsibilities

    • Accounts Payable and Disbursements
    • Cash Processing and Management
    • Cash controls, reconcilements, and daily activity monitoring and reporting
    • Payroll processing
    • Certain sales tax-related functions, General Ledger Accounting and General Ledger Accounting Reconciliations functions
    • Escheatment processing, maintenance and reporting, in accordance with State requirements
    • Certain functions pertaining to debt sale coordination
    • Customer Account Monetary transactions
    • Ownership and execution of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting across Controllership’s Shared Services organization and other functions
    • Train and evaluate team members to consistently enhance their performance and development for future leadership roles

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s in accounting, or equivalent preferred.
    • Certified Public Accountant, or equivalent preferred.
    • 3+ years of public accounting experience, preferred.

      

    Supervisory Responsibility

    This position may have supervisory responsibilities.

     

    Work Environment and Physical Demands

    This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

     

    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

    This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday-Friday with some schedule variations as needed.

     

    Travel

    This position will require up to 10% travel.
