  • Overview

    The core role of the Solutions Analyst is to provide the link between the product owner / customer and the technical “development” team.  This includes gathering requirements and analyzing data in support of the product backlog.  This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit of a product lifecycle. This position should have a goal of being a solid practitioner of the role.



    • Grooming the product backlog based on the prioritization provided by the product owner
    • Analyzing the customer needs and finding solutions
    • Creating requirements in the form of user stories with appropriate acceptance criteria with a strong grasp of facilitating meetings.
    • If in case the user stories have been already created by the product owner (with acceptance criteria), then reviewing them to make sure business rules are covered and the acceptance criteria meet the user story functionality
    • Working with the product owner and the stakeholders to understand the scope, business value and suggest improvements to the requirements, etc
    • Preparing documents like wireframes, design flow, UI etc., when required
    • Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems
    • Conduct research on software and hardware products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts
    • Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems, and other post-implementation support
    • Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems


    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • 2-4 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Solutions Analyst - in the lending industry preferred. Experience in automotive lending a plus.
    • Demonstrated project management skills
    • Experience with SDLC, Agile Frameworks (Scrum / Kanban) preferred
    • Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills.

    • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
    • Logical and efficient.
    • Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive
    • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.
    • Highly self-motivated and directed.
    • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
    • Strong customer service orientation.
    • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
    • Certifications preferred: IQBBA Certified Foundation Level Business Analyst (CFLBA) or - IIBA Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA); IIBA Agile Analysis Certification (AAC), Certified Product Owner (CSPO) – or similar training / certifications.
