Overview

American Credit Acceptance, an emerging credit lender for automobiles, seeks an individual to develop and drive strategies and enhance processes for servicing accounts to achieve corporate goals for profitability and customer service. The Vice President, Strategy and Analysis will understand the business environment and team capabilities to create and communicate the strategy in a clear and compelling vision to senior executives. This person will ensure that the team has the necessary skills, motivation and authority to deliver results.

  • Identify, quantify and present Servicing strategies that will drive profit and/or customer satisfaction.

  • Refine and improve processes with appropriate controls so they are robust and well documented.

  • Deliver both short and long-term goals in an uncertain and fluid environment.

  • Identify team needs, talent, tools, and secure the resources needed.

  • Develop and retain talented associates.

  • Influence and work with colleagues in IT, Operations, Finance and others to improve organizational performance.

  • Excellent written, oral, and influential communications skills and the ability to drive to agreement with good negotiation skills.

 

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in complex, data-driven problem solving

  • 5+ years of experience in People management

  • Proven and progressive development and strategy experience in a major corporation or top-tier strategy consulting firm or equivalent

  • Bachelor’s Degree

 Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in auto lending, preferably in servicing

  • MBA or MS in qualitative field

  • Exceptional academic experience from a top university

 

**This role is onsite at our headquarter office in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Must be able and willing to commute to office 5 days/week. Non-local candidates must be able to relocate. Custom relocation packages may be available as part of total compensation package. **

 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Hours may vary or exceed 40 in any given week depending on the needs of the business.

 

Travel

No travel is expected for this position.
