This crucial member of the Talent Acquisition team will help to source, schedule and process candidates and/or new-hires for ACA. The ideal candidate will look to find, build, qualify and maintain talent pipelines in coordination with ACA’s various recruitment needs. Working closely with Corporate Recruiters, the Talent Acquisition Specialist can prequalify candidates for job fit, culture fit, experience and salary expectations and then help to move the candidates through the process by scheduling onsite interviews, coordinating travel, and then administering the hiring process.
Essential Functions
Sourcing and Engaging Candidates:
•Build qualified and diverse candidate pipelines for assigned roles and keep engaged through process.
•Work with recruiting team to identify talent needs and successful candidate profiles. Could work with third party recruiters to assist in sourcing candidates.
•Identify and contact potential candidates through sourcing avenues. Prequalify candidates for job and culture fit, experience and salary expectations.
•Track/assist with registration for career fairs, job postings, candidate assessments, etc.
•Positively impact and represent the employer brand of ACA by providing candidates with timely, accurate and effective communications.
•Conduct research and update team on new and changing recruitment and sourcing technologies and methods.
Service Excellence
•Maintain and update ATS with correct and accurate information and status for all candidates.
•Schedule all onsite interviews with multiple participants and coordinate travel for candidates if necessary.
•Coordinate all pre-hire processes which may include reference checks, background checks, drug screens, employee files, and other pre-hire verifications and new hire processes.
•Manage ad-hoc projects to improve the processes and procedures of the talent acquisition process.
•Responsible for tracking and preparing weekly/monthly email communications/ reports communicating recruiting activities.
Qualifications
•Must be a driven, self-starter who would describe themselves as organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle/prioritize multiple tasks/projects at one time.
•Bachelor's degree preferred. Ideal candidate will have either degree in Human Resources or Marketing, or relevant work experience.
•Proficient computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office and web-based systems
•Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS), email marketing, LinkedIn Recruiter and similar resume databases preferred.
•Able to demonstrate strong partnership and service to the recruiting team, candidates and hiring managers through professional communication (written and oral) and through ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Supervisory Responsibility
No Supervisory Experience Required.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Daily schedule from 8 am. Hours may vary or exceed 40 in any given week depending on the needs of the business.
Travel
This position will not require travel.
